Homemade Pizza Anyone?

So Hana had an after-party at her place for her graduation.  It was a potluck, so everyone brought some food to share.There was some goof stuff there, and even though i brought my famous chicken fajitas that i've mastered at this point...people would NOT stop raving about Hana's homemade pizza. (which she made for the first time that day!)

Ok, I'll admit her pizza was AMAZING. I really liked the dough, it wasn't dry like  homemade pizza dough can be. Even more exciting, the recipe is suppperrrr easy. I mean even Hana could handle it. =P

So we decided we'd share how to make the pizza for our next blog entry. To make it a little more interesting, we also made a homemade garlic white sauce, for those of you who are tired of red sauce, and agree with me the fact that garlic makes the world taste better. (but if you like red sauce thats cool too i guess.)

Here are the results! We were babysitting our favorite little buddy Jake that day, so you'll catch a glimpse of his cuteness as well as the deliciousness of the pizza. =D

Fruit Tart(le)

Soooo a few weeks ago Hana and I went to Nugget with our favorite Addassi's, Hala and Khalto Maha.We were on a coffee run, however Sacramento is LAME and all the coffee places close at 9.

It was 9:15. No coffee for us.

However, on our hunt for caffinated goodness....we stumbled upon the dessert display at Nugget.
Our hearts melted at the sight of dessert wondefulness.

I got a chocolate mousse cup and Hala indulged in a GIANT cream puff, and Hana bought lemon Tarlets...which she calls lemon "tartles".

The idea of making a fruit tart was inspired by Hana's choice of dessert. Also its summer, and we might as well have a cool dessert that incorporates summer fruits. =D

Why hey there everyone....thanks for being super patient with us.
Guess who finally decided to post....
I know, I know..this post is about three months late...but we had some trouble with our past demos.
Technical difficulties. Go figure.
The biggest issue was the camera used to record..we tried a few different ones but they all failed.
However, Hana's amaaazing Aunt Penny and Uncle Bret, gave Hana a super awesome camcorderrrr and a tripod to keep it on!! So now we're set and vidoes are onn their wayyy. Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Technical Difficulties :O

We are very disappointed in our delay of videos but we were having some major camera issues. Our files were saved wrong, changing the format of each clip, making it where we were unable to edit the clips. But I am currently in the process of changing the format which takes about 15 minutes for each. It is very exhuasting, especially when Areeba isn't tech savvy. :P

To make that long story short, we will be posting the video sometime this week.

Anyways, please be patient and hopefully next time we will be much more organized and prepared!

FAILCAKES.

So...this weekend Hana and I are supposed to practically live together and make more vids for the blog...
Last night Hana slept over. This morning, Hana and Rimsha decided to make pancakes for breakfast.
I usually take care of breakfast and have them help if i need it...but today i was in the shower while they tried to make pancakes and berry syrup to top it...I was pretty excited to be the one who didnt have to cook this time and could just enjoy the pancakes. Little did I know what would happen with Hana and Rimsha in charge of breakfast.

Each failcake was terrible in its own way...some were burnt, some were too thick...and othes were in strange odd shapes...I managed to come to the kitchen in time to save the berry syup which was tuning out runny. They didnt taste too bad i guess...the syrup and cool whip on top ovepowered the pancake flavor. =)

It was one sugary breakfast..but the good thing about sugar in the morning is that it gives you some energy and you end up burning it all throughout the day. Yayyy!!!

                              Now to get back to making videos for all you wonderful people.
